a. To ascertain how many men are planning to take advantage of the provisions of the GI Bill of Rights.

b. To find out how many men understand the GI Bill of Rights; their misconceptions, etc.

c. To supply more detailed information of the educational plans of enlisted men.

d. To ascertain enlisted men's’ knowledge of and attitudes toward demobilization plans, mustering out pay, and problems of adjustment to civilian life.

e. To gain enough information through interviewing with this questionnaire to design a questionnaire on demobilization at a later date.

Sample Description

The study includes 1,966 enlisted men from two AGF installations and one AAF installation, and 180 enlisted men from one separation center. The Separation Center men were analyzed separately. Only the sample of 1,966 was preserved.
